User Data Deletion Instructions

Effective May 26, 2026. This page explains how to request deletion of your ServiceCastle account and any personal data we hold about you, including data obtained through Facebook Login or the Facebook Graph API.

1. Overview

ServiceCastle, Inc. (“ServiceCastle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) gives every user the right to request deletion of their account and the personal data associated with it. This includes any data we may have received from Meta/Facebook when you used Facebook Login or connected a Facebook Page to your ServiceCastle account.

2. What gets deleted

On a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove:

  • Your ServiceCastle account and login credentials.
  • Your profile details (name, email, phone number, business name, avatar, role assignments).
  • Any Facebook identifiers we stored (Facebook user ID, page ID, access tokens) and any profile fields received through Facebook Login (such as name, email, and profile picture).
  • Customer, job, estimate, invoice, and message records that you own, unless we are required to retain them by law (see Section 5).
  • Files and attachments you uploaded to the Services.

3. How to request deletion

Pick whichever option is easiest for you.

Option A — From inside the app

  1. Sign in to ServiceCastle and open Settings → Account.
  2. Click Delete account and confirm with your password.
  3. We will email you a confirmation once deletion is complete (typically within 30 days).

Option B — By email

  1. Send an email to privacy@servicecastle.com from the email address tied to your account.
  2. Use the subject line: “Data deletion request”.
  3. Include your full name, the business name on the account, and — if applicable — the Facebook account or Page you used to sign in.

Option C — Revoke from Facebook

You can remove ServiceCastle’s access to your Facebook data at any time directly from Facebook:

  1. Go to Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find ServiceCastle in the list of active apps.
  3. Click Remove.

Removing the app on Facebook revokes our access going forward. To also delete data we already stored, follow Option A or Option B above.

4. What happens next

  • We verify the request (this protects you from someone else deleting your account).
  • We delete or irreversibly anonymize the data described in Section 2 within 30 days of verification.
  • We confirm completion by email and provide a reference ID you can keep for your records.

5. Limited retention

We may retain a minimal amount of information when the law requires it — for example, transaction records needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or to resolve an open dispute. Retained records are kept only for the period required and are not used for any other purpose.
